The data compiled in the Healthy Aging Data Reports present local, state, and regional leaders and advocates with information and tools to help you to create communities that are great places to grow up and grow older.
More than 150+ separate indicators have been compiled and analyzed to help users get the “big picture” about the health of older adults across each state and factors that influence healthy aging. Community Profiles for every city and town in each state include detailed population characteristics as well as information about community engagement, access to care, wellness and prevention, nutrition/diet, mental health, chronic disease, living with disability, and safety. To date we have released reports in New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island), the deep south (Mississippi), and the west (Wyoming). While every state is unique, there is a universal need for local data to inform work to enhance healthy aging.
The Healthy Aging Data Reports for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island are funded by the Point32Health Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan.
